This argument has been bubbling away for some time now; there are a lot of fans frustrated by the clubs season ticket policy. The club implemented a rule whereas if you have a season ticket (which predominantly gives entry for league matches) they want commitment from the fans that they will also buy tickets for any cup matches (FA Cup, league cup etc). It doesn’t really bother me, even though I am season ticket holder I do conform to buying the cup match tickets and if I cannot make the game in question I normally sell them on at higher than face value. I can though see the frustration endured by others; nobody should be forced to agree to buy something in advance without knowing what the product will be. |

Even though it looks wrong from the outside, United are not the only guilty party when it comes to fans extortion. United have been offering lower tickets prices than any of the other so called big four for some time with ticket prices ranging from £26- £48. I feel sorry for the Gooners as they have to pay anything between £48- £94 per ticket, now that’s daylight robbery if I have ever seen it!
