PSV Eindhoven attract young striker

EINDHOVEN (SW) - FC Groningen striker Stefan Nijland is about to sign a five-year deal with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven.

Nijland and Groningen agreed terms with PSV on Monday. This was announced on the latter's official website.

The forward, born in 1988, spent only one year with FC Groningen and scored four goals in 23 appearances.

Assuming that the medical exams are completed without difficulties, Groningen are expected to receive around four million Euros for the player.
