LONDON (AFP) - Chelsea's new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari admitted Sunday that he fears he could be sacked if he fails to achieve immediate success at Stamford Bridge.

Scolari believes owner Roman Abramovich's patience will not stretch very far should he fail to bring success to the London club.

The Blues turned to former Portugal and Brazil coach Scolari after parting ways with Avram Grant following a 2007/08 season of disappointment where they missed out on the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and League Cup.

"I don't want to be sacked, but maybe it is one line that Chelsea will follow," Scolari told the News of the World. "Because at Chelsea if you don't win it is bad.

"I know that if you don't win the fans don't like it, the club don't like it, the players want to kill themselves and the coach asking himself 'why didn't I win?'

"I have a contract for two years and I will try and stay two years. But it's true nobody remembers a loser."

Well, considering the 3-0 drubbing they are putting on Portsmouth right now, it looks like Chelsea are doing just fine.

He'll be fine, otherwise If CFC continue to fire managers, they will not be able to get any future top managers to want to go there.
