Palermo vs. Udinese

Udinese were furious after 28 minutes when they were denied a clear penalty and, to add insult to injury, Alexis Sanchez was booked for simulation. Replays show Migliaccio's sliding tackle took out the Chilean's ankle.

Moments later Di Natale somehow failed to score, as his first shot was parried by Sirigu at the near post and he got back onto it, but Migliaccio came sliding in to prod it off his foot in front of an open goal.

Goian needed a last-ditch tackle to stop Sanchez clear on goal, as Udinese continued to dominate. Zapata just failed to get on the end of a Gaetano D'Agostino free kick,

Palermo slowly came out of their shells and they broke the deadlock in the final minutes. A corner came out to the edge of the box, where Cesare Bovo's blockbuster took a slight deflection to leave Handanovic rooted to the spot.

Miccoli nearly made it 2-0 with a left-foot strike and Udinese again had penalty appeals for Bovo's tussle with Antonio Floro Flores. It still wasn't over, as deep into stoppages Di Natale thumped the upright with a strong volley from a corner.
